SAFETY MANAGEMENT POLICY
Electricity is a dangerous device and therefore safety is our first concern at MD Electrical. We have implemented a Safety Management System within our organisation to provide our staff and our clients a safe workplace. Our Safety Management System is audited annually by an external company to ensure our ongoing compliance with state and federal legislation.
Because we have a strong Safety Management System in place, we have been accredited as being a Master Electrician.
Our Safety Management System is based upon the following documents:
- Electrical Safety Act 2002
- Electrical Safety Regulation 2002
- Workplace Health and Safety Regulations
- Queensland Electrical Contracting Industry Code of Practice
- Master Electricians Code of Ethics
- AS/NZS 4936:2001 Safe working on low-voltage electrical guidelines
- AS/NZS 3017:2007 Electrical installations - Verification guidelines
- Specific On-Site inductions and Safety Requirements
